Joon, seven years later…

The Radio Television Suisse (RTS) broadcasted a programme about people living with immunodeficiency. They made a short interview of Joon in November 2020 and visited the hospital where she was treated.

Seven years after her stem cells transplant, Joon is still living in Geneva, studies at university and works in Lausanne on a part-time basis.

  1. Bonjour Patrick,
Great to hear from you about Yoon
Please say Hello to Joon Gewmillwt Nguyen, your adopted Vietnamese girl, born 1995, for whom you shook the world in 1993 to find a bone marrow match to save her.
Am most happy to be tagging along, as she was saved and now she attend university…
